Our Story

In the early 1990s our founder, Geoffrey Harris, introduced the idea of pre-lit Christmas trees, garlands, and wreaths, transforming the once arduous task of seasonal decorating. Our innovative designs quickly found favor with industry giants like QVC, Frontgate, and Plow & Hearth, ultimately reshaping industry standards.

After listening to customer feedback about decor frustrations, we embraced these challenges head-on. From unsightly cords and easily toppled window candles to forgotten watering schedules and uninhabitable plant environments, we applied our solution-oriented mindset and expanded our product range to include beautiful all-season foliage and vibrant summer florals.

Celestial Lights moved into a new chapter as Mara Harris, Geoff’s daughter, joined the company evolving our business into a genuine, family run affair. Following three decades of predominantly wholesale focus, we transitioned to also include a direct-to-consumer approach in 2023 and Celestial At Home was born.

This thoughtful evolution allowed us to tell our products’ stories directly, highlighting the timeless simplicity and effortless elegance woven into each piece.
